Santa Catarina é destaque na coleta de dados do Sistema Nacional de Informações em Saneamento Básico

Santa Catarina é um dos estados com os maiores percentuais de municípios que preencheram os dados do Sistema Nacional de Informações em Saneamento Básico (SINISA). Através dos painéis de acompanhamento da coleta dos dados do SINISA é possível verificar que Santa Catarina foi o estado com maior percentual de envio das informações no Módulo Gestão Municipal, com 96,95%, ficando atrás somente do Distrito Federal (100%). No Módulo de Resíduos Sólidos, também com 96,95%, Santa Catarina aparece em terceiro, somente atrás do Mato Grosso do Sul (98,73%) e do Distrito Federal (100%).

“Parabenizo os municípios catarinenses, as Agências Reguladoras e todos que contribuíram para essa adesão representativa ao SINISA. Isso é resultado do treinamento que a Secretaria de Estado do Meio Ambiente e da Economia Verde (Semae) e a Federação de Consórcios, Associações de Municípios e Municípios de Santa Catarina (Fecam), realizaram com agentes municipais, prestadores de serviço de saneamento, agências reguladoras e profissionais que atuam no setor”, relembra Guilherme Dallacosta, secretário de Estado do Meio Ambiente e da Economia Verde.

A coleta de dados referente ao ano de 2023 começou em junho e se estendeu até o final de setembro de 2024, coordenada pelo Ministério das Cidades, através da Secretaria Nacional de Saneamento Ambiental. A publicação dos dados e indicadores do SINISA 2024 está agendada para o dia 17 de dezembro deste ano.

Os dados coletados anualmente junto aos municípios e prestadores de serviços de saneamento básico abrangem informações institucionais, administrativas, operacionais e de qualidade dos serviços de abastecimento de água, esgotamento sanitário, limpeza urbana, manejo de resíduos sólidos e drenagem de águas pluviais urbanas. Além dos módulos já existentes, como Abastecimento de Água, Esgotamento Sanitário e Resíduos Sólidos, o novo Módulo Gestão Municipal foi implantado, abordando cadastros de prestadores e reguladores, planejamento municipal e soluções alternativas para o acesso a serviços de água e esgoto.

“O SINISA organiza e disponibiliza informações relevantes sobre o setor, facilitando o planejamento e a execução de políticas públicas em diferentes níveis. Além disso, o fornecimento de dados ao sistema é essencial para que os municípios tenham acesso a recursos públicos federais destinados ao saneamento básico”, explicou Dallacosta.
